"Being the first guided hunt
I have ever been on I had the best time a person could've
imagined. Larry Smith and all of the guides are some of
the best people I have ever met. Everyone at the base camp
had a goal to make it the most fun and enjoyable it could be
(they succeeded by far) . The area that I had the privilege
to hunt was picture perfect LOADED with elk. The first
morning, shortly after daybreak, I was able to take my first
ever bull elk thanks to two excellent guides Jason and Tom.
They made the elk hunt the very best possible. After
returning and spending one night at base camp I had the
privilege of going on a mule deer hunt with Larry Smith.
It was not long before Larry gave me the opportunity to take a
huge mule deer. That opportunity did not pan out but
within less than one hour Larry pointed out another huge mule
deer a 5x5. I made this shot as you can see. A great
big thank you to a great outfitter and a great group of
guys.
PS: As an added bonus Jason
Smith mounted this 5x5 mule deer for me. I have had
several animals heads mounted in the past but none with as much
life-like, realistic added artistic features as this mule
deer. Thank you Jason Smith for giving me a perfect mule
deer mount to remember a perfect hunt."

had always been a dream of mine to go on a guided elk hunt, so when some friends of mine asked me to go out west with Top Gun Outfitters I was very excited to say the least. We met Larry Smith and he gave us all of the info on his outfitters service and what to expect. I must say Larry and his guides exceeded my expectations by far. Not only
were
they excellent guides, but everyone treated us like they had known us for years. Although I didn't get a bull this time I saw plenty of
